Welcome to the Edradour Pitlochry and Blair Atholl Pipe Band Web site.
The Pitlochry & Blair Atholl Pipe Band was formed on 1st November 2004 by a group of local musicians intent on developing the Pipe Band concept to cover all Celtic music.
The Band is led by Pipe Major Christy and Pipe Sergent Sharon Kelly, who have an impressive record of achievements at World level with both junior & senior pipe bands, ensuring that the tuition given will be of the highest standard.
Players of all ages are encouraged to play in the band, never needing to move from the local area in order to pursue their musical ambitions. The Band is rapidly becoming a strong & healthy organization, which is already growing from strength to strength & will be permanently based in the Pitlochry & Blair Atholl area.
In Feburary 2012 the Pipe Band secured sponsorship from The Edradour distillery, the local distillery in Pitlochry, this sees the band alter its name to the Edradour Pitlochry & Blair Atholl Pipe Band.
The band has redesigned its logo, and will unveil it during the 2012 season.
The band will hold practise sessions at Edradour Distillery on Wed evenings 7pm-9pm and Sunday afternoons 1pm-4pm from March 2012
